Same reason the GOP right-wing fascist always try to cook up some sily nonsense that isn't true to mislead people.

Because they put in several tea party candidates on the GOP ticket in the primaries. It's like putting progressives on the Democrat ticket. They're not really democrat.

It is the only way to get people into office in a 2 party system. Going third party generally just splits the vote and people have figured that out by now. At any rate, I think people would rather have a government with some checks and balances.

Having a split congress ensures that compromise is made instead of every conceived idea is just run through with a blank check like it is now.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
