Yes I will still watch, this show attracts more male viewers and there is a reason why, you have to be naive to think that he does not act this way. Guys that tell you they would never do that are lying, what they really mean is they don't have options because really for a lot of people they are only as faithful as their options. I have watched this guy since I was a teenager and see no good reason to stop watching now.
Absolutely. Frankly, I'm giving him a lot of credit for how he handled the whole thing. He immediately went to police to prosecute the blackmailer, even though it would expose his secrets and hurt his family.
And upon knowing the story would be made public, he decided to come clean on his show, putting the whole story in his terms, and keeping the details and identities of his partners secret. He delivered the story with class, with grace, and with humor. And the man wasn't stupid enough to even mention his wife.
He kept that private between the two of them and didn't drag his marital issues or wife into the public life. The man clearly acted like a horny idiot. He hurt his family in immeasurable ways.
And he's going to be paying for this for a loooong time. But he won't be paying for it with my absent viewership. I still see him as a funny comedian and gifted entertainer. So I'll keep watching, and for the sake of his family I truly hope he can make things right by his wife, who he owes the moon and stars and more over this.
Yes but I will always watch Conan more. I like Letterman. I watch Letterman.
I don't watch his personal life.
I, too, have watched David Letterman since I was in my teens - dating back to his morning show on NBC. I will continue to watch him. Earlier today, I asked this question very similarly (mahalo.com/answers/david-letterman/are-y...).
I expressed my opinion that I was not happy with the way he handled it, because I thought it would have been smarter for him to acknowledge that his sex with staffers could appear to be sexual harassment. He ignored that elephant in the room, and I think it will come back to hurt him. I am guessing that he will be making a better-thought-through statement pretty soon.
I will personally feel better about watching him in the future if he deals with that aspect of the story, and I am sure that I am not the only one who feels that way.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
