I'm speaking of the 13 year old girl who had her feet severed on the Six Flags ride in Kentucky and now, more recently, the death of a 14 year old girl at Disneyland Paris. There have been accidents on rides every year that there have been rides... nothing has changed. If you let you children on last year, there's no reason not to this year. Sources: My knowledge .
Yes There's a risk in just about everything you do in the world anymore. Whether it's crossing the street, riding in a car, flying in a plane, eating "potentially contaminated" meat/produce, riding a bike near traffic, or even just going to school where there are germs, molds, and bacteria....there's no way to completely shelter your kiddos. Every now and then you hear about these theme park tragedies, but they get a lot of press and a lot of attention.
And really when you consider how many people in the world attend a theme park everyday, the risk is sooo minimal, that there are many other life risks I'd be more worried about. Plus going to theme parks for kids/teens is virtually a rite of passage. All you can do is teach them to be smart and safe, send them out into the world to enjoy life, and hope for the best!
PenguinSage's Recommendations Designing Disney's Theme Parks: The Architecture of Reassurance Amazon List Price: $50.00 Used from: $27.50 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 19 reviews) The Disney Queue Line Survival Guidebook Amazon List Price: $19.95 Used from: $16.99 To be honest, I'd be more worried about their risk of getting skin cancer from sun exposure while waiting in long lines! .
I love amusement parks I will still continue going on amusement parks in spite of what has been happening in the news. I don't know how her feet got severed or how that girl in Disneyland Paris died but it has nothing to do with the rides. I am sure the amusement park managers have ride technicians to check out the rides before the ride can be open. So, it has to be something wrong with the people themselves in order for something to happen to them.
": I have to agree and actually they have not said what the problem was with the girl in France but she was not injured or anything. It was probably some pre-existing condition that maybe they didn't know about. I do have to say though...the little girl's feet being severed got to me.
Although you can't live that way...what if? .

2 louseal01, regarding your answer "I love amusement parks": the girl at Disneyland Paris was unconscious when the ride came in and died shortly after. She did not appear to be injured in any way so, on that, you are probably right. The girl in Kentucky is another thing.
I don't know if anything is conclusive yet but it appeared as though a cable severed her feet off so there it was definitely a problem with the ride. Her feet just didn't fly off from something she had before! What did you think...her feet were loose before she went on the ride?
Lol .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
