Your installation files could be damaged while copying over network or saving to HDD. Try to create installation version ISO image, copy it to MacBook and check MD5 on both sides. It they match, mount ISO and go ahead with installation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
