You seem to be south Indian. You compare Bangaluru with Shanghai. You cannot compare Bengaluru even with Mumbai.
Bengaluru can be compared hardly with Pune. Just IT hub does not make any city to be megapolis. You have to have everything that takes any city to be compared with Shanghai.
I think you may not be aware that Narayan Murthy started his career in Mumbai and Pune and after everything was set up he shifted everything to his home town Bengaluru. And you see what is Bengaluru today is indirectly outcome of Mumbai. I do not think any more elaboration is required for your beloved mega city.
India has a corrupt government. However the Indian mindset is at least better than the Thai mindset or other asian countries. Like in Thailand they always think presently and can't think in pretense and therefor tend to be bad businessmen unable to see problems as an ongoing problem and only seek to correct it in the short term.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
