It depends. On my Window's PC (other than security updates) I usually wait. On my net book (I use the most often) I run Ubuntu and I will throw anything on it as soon as it is available.
The set up is so quick and easy I will even install other distros for sport. If I jack it up I just do a reinstall and I am back up and running.
I usually install minor updates right away. I assume that its minor enough that it can't really wreck anything. If the update is large, though, like a Windows service pack, then I usually wait a little longer.
If people were complaining about the Beta, then I wait a month or so until the bugs are worked out of it. If I haven't heard anything about it, I usually do a few Google searches to see what problems other people are having. If nobody's having any problems, then I install it right away.
Otherwise, I wait a little bit for the problems to be fixed.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
