Already have with a Bible. Considering the book as anything more than ink on paper is idolatry. And I would use the paper from any book in a pinch.
That bible was the only dry tinder we could find after dumping our canoe (it was in the car). So even as an atheist I can say the bible brought light and warmth to me in a bad time. One exception - certain copies of the Bible and Quran are works of art and very valuable.
I would no more burn them than a valuable painting or first edition of certain books.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
