Nah there is nothing wrong with that I personally stopped throwing men under the bus when I realised I was doing it alot. It's quote considerable the amount of respect you command when you stop doing this. Though I do work on a "help others if you can if not at least do them no harm." type basis.
That goes for men and women. I wouldn't recommend to specifically avoid helping women. As that would be very incompassionate.
In my experience men in alot of circumstances tend to be alot less accepting of help even when they need it whereas women tend to ask for help alot more even when they don't need it. But my view is not exactly a science.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
