It's too early to tell. Right now, business "picking up" would mean the offer didn't fall out of escrow! The only really vigorous business here is in foreclosures.
On Maui, they seem to be down. There are a lot of foreclosures in the paper now. On the Big Island they are definitely down.
I watch Discovery Harbour down by South Point. There are almost no sales lately.
I'm in Logan, Utah. Supposedly we haven't been effected that much by the recession. In fact, we're often rated as one of the best places for employment in the Nation.So home purchases kinda slowed down here, but not like they did in other parts of the country.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
