Would men still have the mental advantage even if both genders were equally intelligent?

Humans have a tendency of creating defined lines and categories to make things more convenient to comprehend. You'll get a more accurate idea of life by using your own eyes and experiences, rather than searching for just the right test or study that tells you what you want to hear. In actuality, gender is not a determining factor for much at all... and yes, there are even studies and tests that will back this up as well, just as there are studies supporting every other opinion.

From the statistics you gave, women, since they more likely to have average intelligence. You can have a low IQ and not be mentally ill, you know. And average IQ people suffer from mental illness too.
