This is not anything new or different, it's a well-established tradition with the Republicans. When a Democrat gets elected president, they go into a 4-year-long hissy fit. They drag their heels and obstruct, and they just make up whatever malicious lies they can think of, and repeat them over and over even long after they've been discredited.
They treated Clinton the same way, and Carter. They want Obama to fail, quickly and hard, and they don't even make it a secret. They only care about getting back into power.
They're much better at winning elections than governing, because they're all about being in power so they can pursue their agenda. They don't care what damage they do to the country in the process, only about getting back into power. They don't hate Obama because he's black, they hate him because he's a Democrat in the White House.
They've built up a whole media empire over the last 30 years to spread lies and propaganda. Karl Rove even worked on a plan to make the US a single-party state, so elections wouldn't even matter. There would be one candidate, picked by a party committee, and you could either vote for him or not vote.
That is the Republican Dream. They are not only anti-Democratic, they are also anti-democratic.
There is a circle of hate in the United States. Conservatives hate Obama and liberals. Liberals hate Bush and Conservatives.
It is sad that you point out the fact that republicans hate obama when liberals clearly hate bush just as much. Liberals even hate him because he is a white christian male and are open about it. Only some conservatives are racist but the hate towards Obama is dominantly a political issue rather than a race issue.
HIPOCRACY IRONY IDIOCY.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
