Would you be willing to join the "Save Serial Commas Association" (SSCA)?

I'm willing to join mind, body, and soul. I believe that dropping the serial comma has the potential to cause a lot of confusion in written language.

Personally, I was educated in a way that did not incorporate serial commas into lists, so I do not even think about them that often. As I was majoring in English Literature, it was often hard to keep up with professors that expected you to use the serial comma and the ones who didn't want it used, so now that I am free of the educational yolk, I do not use them. I'd be more interested in saving things like the actual English language at this point, which I fear faces disintegration with the increase in avid texting and IMing.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
