I'd love to. I guess I've watched too much Stargate, Star Trek, and Earth 2 (anyone remember that one? ).
It would be strenuous, no doubt. But I think the idea of pioneering it would be great for my descendants, and it would be a good way to raise kids. Somehow when kids are doing meaningful things they don't have time to get in trouble.
I would love to settle on another planet. I think it would be incredible to be a pioneer like that. I think that it is feasible now but no one is willing to expend the money to do it.
I will bet that China will take over Mars within this century.
Definitely. While I am still 28 I think it will be very hard to experience such thing during my life. However I am pretty sure that "flights" to other planets will become very common in the future just like how regular flights on earth are now.
Moreover it's a great bet on whether earth will be damaged and many people should inhabit other planets or if we are going to save earth early and just inhabit other planets to expand humanity. But if I had the chance to travel to space I would go without any second thought!
Absolutely! While I don't think it will happen for another fifty years, the idea is preposterously appealing. Getting the infrastructure in place to make another planet inhabitable will be a massive undertaking but golly, a whole other Earth to thrive on - it's mind-boggling!
Sure, but I also sure this is not going to happen in my lifetime. Because apart from discovering a planet that would support human life, we'd also have to come up with super fast transportation to take us there in a jiffy! Probably in another 100 years, one of the moons of Jupiter would be found to have a perfect living condition for humans and we'd have developed a teleportation system by then, so that people will start moving there.
While much of the projected growth in human population is likely to come from the developing world, it is the lifestyle enjoyed by many in the West that has the most impact on the planet. Some experts claim that in the UK consumers use as much as two and a half times their fair share of Earth’s resources. Sir David examines whether it is the duty of individuals to commit not only to smaller families, but to change the way they live for the sake of humanity and planet Earth.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
