For my personal laundry needs, most all-in-one washer dryer combos are inadequate. - and a single multifunction unit would definitely not have the volume capacity for the style my household does laundry in. (on laundry day both machines run continuously)however, for less volume intensive habits, that actually looks like a great idea.

I had one for a while - a Maytag - when I lived in a small condo. Except for its size, it worked dependably and perfectly. I would have no problem recommending one to anyone else.

I have one and I love it, will never go back to the old two separate machines, also the one I have is so energy efficient, I never saw my electric bill go up at all.

I agree with L W. They have over/under combos in separate machines, which we have used due to limited space.

We bought one an hour ago at Home Depot because this house, built in 1954, has space for a washing machine only; one is expected to take that laundry outside to hang on the line in the backyard. It's raining right now as I type. Ha ha.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
