Would you consider the Philippines as America's "Israel" in South East Asia?

Afghanistan is part of South Asia like Pakistan, but never the Central Asia due to its culture and language.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
