Would you depart on a journey to colonize a planet even if you would be dead before getting there?

I would in theory but a lot of factors would have to be taken into consideration. How safe is the new planet. I don't mean the flight but how would life be at the destination.

How many would be going. There is here obviously an ethical view, would it be fair to commit our off spring to a certain type of life. We do, to a point already but this would be a lot more permanent.

I like this question. Depends on what I'm riding in. If we're talking about a space ship that looks like space vehicles of today, then no.

If it looks like a cruise ship, with artificial gravity, then maybe. I'm going to guess it'd be hard to keep writing hubs though.

Because it would mean leaving my wife and kids, no. If they came with me and were willing to, yes. If I didn't have a wife and kids, yes.

I be the first to jump aboard since I have fulfilled GOD'S will and ultimate purpose for my life on the earth and it can spread GOD'S ultimate purpose for my life on the earth forever now through the greatest article on the earth called " Daily Nuggets moment AMBASSADOR BRANDON BUTLER " and answering questions on hubpages. The only descendants that I would give as the first inhabitants would be my article called " Daily Nuggets Moment AMBASSADOR BRANDON BUTLER " to spread throughout all known habitable planets throughout the universe since I have already done this and is now complete on the earth through 100% Referring Sites, 0% Search Engines, 0% Direct Traffic with 26 visits and 45 page Views and a ever total Page Views 3062 and 208 monthly views with an average 1020 views per hub for my 3 hubs in 12 months as of this day of June 27, 2011 A.D. 3:37 AM.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
