I recommend you spend some time trying to imagine how it would feel to be so horribly unhappy with your life that you're willing to throw it away. People don't become suicidal on a whim; life is agonizing for some. A lot of people are so unhappy that they'll even settle for a violent death, like jumping off a cliff or hanging themselves.
Just imagine how awful you would have to feel to be willing to strangle yourself to death. Try to hold your breath for a really long time, until you start to feel the panic rising. Then imagine your life being so painful that you're willing to accept that panic, that horrible feeling of being unable to breathe, for a full minute, or maybe two or five if you didn't do it right.
Just imagine how it would feel, having that pain weighing on you, but now you're trapped in it, because something hideous awaits you if you try to escape. I know it's hard sometimes to have sympathy when you've never been there. But do at least practice a bit at putting yourself in their shoes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
