It's legal until you have sex. Even before he's 18, the legal age of consent is no younger than 16. He could go to jail, even if you have sex while he's still 17.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
