Sounds to me like you are a smart kid with a great head on your shoulders! But here's the thing, I'll bet your Mom trusts you to no end, its all the idiots, and predators in the world that she doesn't trust, and that is the reason for not wanting 14 year old child to go to a concert by alone. So don't think that it is you!
What you should do however is tell her who all is going, tell her the Dad is going and ask her to meet him, and see how it goes from there. If she see's that he is a responsible adult, and he is not allowing his child to go by herself, maybe she will allow you to go then! Then add in there, and you'll call her ever y hour to check in and let her know your alright!
Her thoughts about this concert is this: There are alot of people in the world that do bad things to kids-and that is NOT going to be MY child. So love her for it!
Yes! I think so. You're growing up, and you should have more privileges.
Maybe try making a compromise with your mom, like if she lets you go to the concert, you'll do _____. Remind her that your friends are going too, so other people your age are going to concerts and nothing bad happens. And their dad is going too, so there will be a responsible adult around.
I don't have any kids myself, but i'd definitely let a teenage kid attend a concert. :3.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
