Would you rather deliver babies or pizzas to earn a living?

This depends somewhat on the future cost of gasoline. While wear and tear on a vehicle is fairly well set, the increases in gas results in a lower ROI (return on investment). The pay is not that high, but sometimes the tips are good.

(Puts me in mind of the time a guy suggested that I buy stock in Google at $80. I jeered at him. Who's gonna invest in a company with a name like that?

) Now as far as babies are concerned, it seems to me that the real problem is the enormous amount of competition. You start out at a disadvantage, of course. You have to decide.

Should you fly commercial or buy your own plane? What about timesharing a plane? And there is still the problem of rising fuel costs.

Of course, from what I have heard, there is a lot of money in delivering babies, and there appears to be a constant demand. Costs are minimal, especially now that cheap diapers are being imported from China.(I suspect that is because of their one child per family rule. Not as many diapers are needed.

) There is a noise issue, and of course the possible environmental problems and the accompanying odor. It's a real dilemma to choose. I like to drive so I would probably choose pizza.

The competition problem

You'd make more than just a plain old delivery driver, and think of the stories you could tell!

Assuming I'd be equally competent at doing both... which is rather unlikely... I'd deliver babies no question. I like what I do with my life to matter. There's not many things that matter to folks more than seeing their baby delivered safely into the world.

Also I like to exercise skill and I like to solve problems. I maybe wrong, but I'm thinking that there isn't much of that in deliverig pizza.

I am thinking that perhaps I could have the "best of both worlds" and start a Pizza Delivery and Midwifery business. I would call it Purveyors of Pizza and Parturition" Open 24 hrs of course, and tips would be most welcome. Let us slice you up a pizza and cut the umbilical cord in the same visit!

Half off your pizza order for first time moms.

Wow that is really hard question to decide on but I think I would have to go with delivering pizzas for a living. I love kids and the money would be decent but I don't think I could go through with delivering babies that are dead or have some serious problem with them as I am emotional and I think that would get in the way of the job.

Pizzas! I have to admit that I have delivered pizzas for a living and it was the BEST JOB EVER! Everyones concept of a pizza delivery person is that they are the bottom of the totem pole so you really don't have to work hard to beat everyones expectations!

Plus driving is one of my fav things to do!

Hmmm, I wasn't going to answer (because I'm not that funny), but I would say babies -- only if I was a midwife and not a nurse though (also, homebirth vs. hospital) -- I wouldn't be able to accept a more clinical manner, with time limits and strict procedures. Delivering a homebirth would be great -- more comfortable for everyone involved and sometimes the midwife gets to sit and relax when the mother does. Regarding pizza deliveries, I have to break it to some people -- you might not necessarily be driving -- in NYC I see many who have to ride a bike and climb up flights of stairs when there is no elevator (regardless of the weather!).

I would rather deliver babies! There's such joy when parents see their child for the first time. It would be incredibly rewarding to be a part of that.

Pizzas, wouldn't earn as much, but the site of blood makes me squeamish.

I think, delivering babies needs more knowledge and skills than delivering pizza. I don't think you can compare the two. Since I don't have the skills to deliver a baby safely , I would take the pizza delivery.

Of course, if I have the training and skill to deliver babies, I would choose to do that for a living. It will more job satisfaction to me and less temptation to eat more than I really want.

I would rather deliver Pizzas because I like to be out in the fresh air, I like driving, I like meeting new people, and I do not like screaming women, blood, or hospitals.

I dunno, pizzas smell nice, you can always swipe a piece, etc...but I'm certain the pay is better when delivering babies.

I would deffinately rather deliver pizzas for a living...you might get jumped or robbed occasonially but having babies hurts more and leaves permanent damage to your va-jay-jay :).

Babies probably because they are more important in life. The customer would be delighted! Hope this helps.

Tottlay delivering babys cuz I luv babys :-) their such a joy.

Going to have to deliver pizza because I don't have a medical license and malpractice insurance!

I have a high tolerance for stress and chaos-- so probably babies as I'd thrive on the adrenaline rush. Delivering pizzas would be a bit mundane, I think.

I would rather deliver pizzas! I can understand how deliver children would be a joy, since (most of the time) you're helping to bring happiness into somebody's life. However, pizzas smell nice, and it's not so big of a job either... Outside of the family's happiness, I personally cannot derive anything pleasant about delivering babies!

So pizzas it is! However, delivering babies would get more money... But as they say, do what you love! And frankly, I love pizza.

I'd deliver babies! Not only would I make more money, but I despise driving and delivering pizzas would require a lot of it. I'd rather be a midwife though so I'd rarely have to touch...stuff.

Definitely pizzas. If you drop one, you won't get sued as easily :-).

Pizzas I wudnt be able to handle lives in my hands.

For me, delivering pizzas sounds terrible. I would do anything else, even if it was delivering babies, which is also kind of gross.

Definitely pizzas. A little less pay (not much less), but much less stress and responsibility. Nurses are special people and should be paid much more than they are.

If my boss sucked, I'd take the one without the sucky boss. But, If they were both nice, I would deliver pizza's. Think of the possibilities!

Pizzas. Delivering babies is not really for me...

Babies! You get more gratitude and appreciation when delivering babies then delivering pizzas!

I most certainly would rather deliver Pizza. Babies are nice and all but I would rather leave the delivery process to someone else.

Heck no, I deliver pizzas for a living. I can barely afford my monthly credit card bill with a limit of $500. The older ones, such as teenagers (yes, I am going to bash my own age group), are more annoying in the money department.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
