Would you rather get a thank you note writen with poor penmanship or computer writen note or nothing?

Ya know, I really don't think it matters if the note is printed out or hand written. Just the idea that you took the time to write a thank you note is what will make the difference. You don't see too many of them nowadays, so I think whatever method you use, it will be appreciated.

It's the personalization of it that makes a difference, not the method of conveyance. You could just buy a card from the store, and that's ok, but if you add a short note in it add which details your own feelings in a special message from you, that makes it so much more personal than just a plain "Thank You" on a card. Or, no store bought card at all, just a piece of paper that you've either hand written OR computer printed out with a short note with your handwritten signature.

It's what comes from your heart that matters! If you think your handwriting is that bad, maybe you can print, or write slower. Or, if you think they might not like it printed, joke about it in the note and explained "I wanted you to ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
