Would you rather live in a place that has all different seasons or live in a place where it's warm all year?

I moved to south Texas and it is rather cold today but got up in the 60s. Winter here can be in the 80s. But you have to remember...even where it is much warmer, there are still seasons.

And it is all in what you get used to. I find that the 70s are a bit nippy and require a jacket and I don't sweat in the 80s. People laugh when they come here and see people in the 60s wearing heavy coats.

That is disgustingly cold. I do like what I can grow and I have citrus trees and the oranges just came in along with some lemons and oranges. But I miss my apricot tree and my nectarine tree.

Yes, the seasons are very nice but cold weather is expensive and it makes my bones hurt. Give me the cool 70 degree days that are just beautiful all winter. It is inexpensive to buy a home here but then the wages are low compared to the rest of the country.

I miss good hospitals and doctors and dentists although there are a few. I have the best flower beds you have ever seen but they need work and I need to cut my grass. This cold snap has pretty much stopped everything but it is very dry so the cold and damp of today makes it a great day to snuggle up with my puppies and a nice hot drink.

I'll take warmer weather. The trick is to get where it doesn't freeze.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
