The most important thing to me for an accommodation is cleanliness. I would love to stay anywhere if it's clean, it has the basic amenities I need ( I don't need much, just clean room, AC if in hot climate, and hot running water). If a bed and breakfast provide these, I will stay there because I want to stay in an intimate and warm atmosphere and of course, with lower price.
If a bed and breakfast cannot provide this, then I won't stay there. I actually have browsed the internet for accommodation for my Mahalo task and some bed and breakfast looks really nice and clean while some hotels I've been are really crappy.
I'd gladly choose the hotel. Why? Having complete amenities is much better than the unnecessary extravagance.
Hotel with all the amenities. Don't really care if they know my name. Knowing your name doesn't matter unless the service and amenities are there always, and they can't be much better than the hotel that has everything.
The hotels that are nice usually are combined with great service as well.
I would take the nice hotel with all the amenities. I wouldn't necessarily need all the extravagant stuff. Just a clean room, comfortable bed, nice employees and a restaurant nearby.
I had a friend I visited at a Bed and Breakfast one time and I have to admit it was very nice and cozy. However, I felt like I was imposing on the owner's personal property and I just didn't feel comfortable being there. I would much rather have my own room etc.:-).
It depends on where I am going and what I will be doing. I like B&B's and even like to stay at them in Europe. I also like the service and friendliness of the B&B's.
If I am going a short distance or for a short trip or a resort then I'll take the amenities.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
