1 Smoking cigarettes isn't even morally acceptable to a lot of people so I don't think it would become morally acceptable by many. I wouldn't smoke it myself even if it were legal. I can't stand the smell of it.It's worse than the smell of cigarettes in my opinion.
Will it become morally acceptable, like drinking, to do pot, my guess is that eventually it will reach the same level of social accpetance. Now, I know few people trained in the academic disciplines of Ethics and Theology who would ever say that drinking alcohol is "moral." Rather, they would say that if done in moderation and if it does not endanger anyone or have any long term negative consequences, it is not immoral.
That is a far cry from saying that drinking alcohol is "moral." Doing anything that clouds judgment, interferes with psychomotor skills, affects memory and alters moods may be tolerated and allowed because of its offsetting positive benefits, but that is as far is to will go towards being accepted. If an alternative is found, it will become the better choice.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
