No. When Governor Walker and the Republicans took out the part of the bill that would actually balance the budget so they could pass a bill that stripped public union rights without the Democrats, he proved balancing the budget and "taking back the State of WI," as you put it, were not his intentions. Balancing the budget is just ruse to attack the power and influence of strongholds of Democrat power.
Republicans don't care about fiscal responsibility nearly as much as they care about securing their own hold on power.
The problem is that nobody can agree on what "necessary changes" are. This is why I support collective bargaining. If you sit down and have a conversation with people you will probably see things that you may not have seen before.
With all cards on the table, you will probably come to a better conclusion as well.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
