It actually depended on the coupon value itself and what the medication was for. Say for any antacid, of course. Any coupon that makes brand name cheaper than store brand is worth its weight in gold.
If a medication proves its muscle in its patient information and online information, then yeah I will try it especially if I didn’t have to pay full price. Mostly I like the Antacid coupons, and naproxen (Aleve). The first time I tried Aleve I had a coupon for a free bottle.
I had never had it before and it was only out on the OTC market about a week when I had a migraine. After that positive experience I often look at new OTC medications, vitamins, nutraceuticle coupons so that I can give it an honest try without being out the full price. Using coupons for new products was alo how I got to try Pepcid complete, Tempo antacid,Prilosec OTC, Insulin etc.
Well being that I’ve earned the title of being the miser in the family, I would probably use a coupon for almost any product if the savings were considerable enough. When it comes to spending money, I do my best to save as much as possible and only spend on what is absolutely necessary. Of course my decision would possibly change depending on what the medication was for.
If it were something for just a cold, then I would probably purchase the generic bargain brand of the products there have been times where the pharmacist will request if I prefer the generic brand as well for cost reasons. However if the medication was for something far more serous, I would probably choose the brand name product.
I think I would use a coupon for over the counter medication, if it was a worthwhile saving. Before purchasing the item, if I was in any doubt I would seek information on the product on line and also seek the advice of the pharmacist. I do listen to friends recommendations, but I have always found that the best adviser is the local pharmacist, if you want advice on any problem which is not serious enough to warrant a visit to the doctor.
A good example of this was when my husband asked for advice for me, I was suffering from bad stomach cramps when I had some sort of bug. The pharmacist recommended Busapina, the Spanish version of Buscopan. It worked brilliantly, I couldn't read the Spanish leaflet very well, but when I looked it up on the net and read about it, I realized what good advice he had been given.
I often use coupons when I am buying multivitamins and other stuffs from the pharmacy. I haven't tried using coupons yet for over-the-counter medicines. And if I happen to find one I would grab the chance and use the coupon for it.
We usually buy ibuprofen and paracetamol and I think it would help me save a lot if I will use coupons for them. Although I rarely buy over the counter medicines but I think using the coupons will make a big difference in our family's budget. Life is hard nowadays and I always think of ways to be able to save and using coupons is one of them.
I am always on the lookout for coupons too for multivitamins for my daughters. I make sure that my children will be will have this supplement so that they will have strong resistance against disease.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
