Wouldn't it be great if Askville would let you retract an answer, even costing some penalty points, up until that time that all answers are in and finalized. About 5 times now I have misread the question, or a neuron flipped somewhere, and I answered the question wrong... or the wrong question. I'd love to be able to just remiove it completely from the answers, because I know that I made a mistake.
I don't think we should be able to remove and re-answer, because by then you've seen other answers - but just removing would be a great feature. Asked by Schelli 38 months ago Similar questions: great Askville retract answer costing penalty points time Amazon > Askville.

Yes ....................... An answer or a question. I asked a question and got beat up by everyone because they took it too seriously. I wished I could delete it..
2 how about just being allowed to post an amendment, since you usually see your error the very moment you hit "submit" .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
