Wouldn't taking the lord's name in vain involve actually saying god's real name (Yahweh, Jehovah, etc.)?

First, the name of the God of Christianity is Jesus (a Greek transliteration) His name is J'eshua in Hebrew. But with Jehovah, it all has to do with the Hebrew alphabet... it has no vowels, and context fills in the blanks. Yahweh is an anglicized word representing the Jewish Tetra-grammiton, "YHWH," which is how the Old Testament refers to God.

The letter J also supplies some confusion, for it sounds like the English language Y. W sounds like V, etc, etc. When you look at the name Jehovah, the dominant consonants are J (Y), H, W (V), H. So Jehovah is really just YHWH with vowels inserted to make it pronounceable in English.

It all refers to God, and it's really not that confusing when you consider the languages.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
