I visited the Canadian side when we were in Toronto. Beautiful, very clean. Was in July, very humid/hot.
They were experiencing a heat wave at the time. Absolutely spectacular views, however, NOT to be missed. I recommend doing all the sites (I chickened out for the cablecar ride over the whirlpool, however!).
You will not regret any of this experience. It is beautiful, breathtaking, exhilarating, awe-inspiring and unforgettable! If you can stay long enough, see it at night, as they shine lights on the falls and I understand that's quite a sight as well.
Enjoy it all, and you will treasure the memories forever.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
