To factorize a polynomial means to break it into the first degree (linear) polynomials that multiplied to make the larger polynomial. X³ - 3x² - x + 3 x²(x - 3) - 1 (x - 3) Look for common factors 1st. (x - 3)(x² -1)...........The binomial that has an x² term is in the form A² - B² = (A + B)(A - B) (x - 3)(x + 1)(x - 1).
The function is y = x^3 -3x^2 -x + 3 ... It is easy to see that x=1 is a root, because y(1) = 0 Then divide the function by (x-1) and get x^2 -2x -3 .... here is a quadratic function with roots x= -1 and x= 3 ... The roots of the function are x=1, x=-1 and x = 3 ... then to factorise it just multiply... y = x^3 -3x^2 -x + 3 = (x-1)(x+1)(x-3) OK!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
