I would say print media seems to have the most credibility. Writing for print media is a difficult gig to get, they want experience and education--but anyone can write online and post it. I've seen it here on Hubpages!
Often, online, people speak/write as experts on a subject yet have no credentials to do so.
Having a printed media blessed by the Queen of Satan Oprah is the best way to an instant millionaire status as an author.
I would say print. You are probably more likely to be taken seriosuly as a writer if you say that you are a reporter for the New York Times than if you say you have a blog. However, I find blogging way more fun, and you have the freedom to write what you want, when you want.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
