Yahoo! Answers, lost all it charm? How many of you agree?

I fully agree with you Banjaran. I am almost on the verge of deleting my account for ever and do something better. The reasons are as follows.

1) There are very few serious users. 2) There are too many trolls and clones who report you and manage to get your answer deleted and even your account get suspended. 3) Y!

A customer care is very unfriendly 4) Y! A has very weird criteria for violations like not adhering to question and answer format, asking sexually explicit questions etc. 5) However they are not consistent , in polls and surveys you can celebrate birthdays , wish goodbye to someone who is leaving the country etc which amounts to chatting. 6) If Y!

A does not take action in time , either more people would stop asking and answering or a competition site may get developed. Very good question indeed!

This proves Humans are turning into Robots. And the rule of Robot is same as of computer. That is 'GIGO' Garbage In Garbage Out' Modern life has robbed the charm of Romance, Love, Trust, Friendship and every delicate human emotional delicacies that used to be once available and now a distant dream.

But modern life has brought the more comforts, more gadgets more knowledge more money more riches. But robbed of privacy, brains are full of information, and real experiences are lacking. People are turning towards drugs for kicks.

Plenty of food and clothing and comforts has not helped man fulfill the contented life. On the contrary , we have more beggars, more unemployed, more sick, more devastation, more destruction of natural resources and yet the man's heart and soul are empty. So in these surroundings we are living and contributing to Yahoo with same spirit.

And if someone finds charm it is miracle, else you are right , we are loosing the charm everywhere. Humans have found Cosmetics for false charms I do not know what better things can bring charm to Yahoo Q/A But I Love Yahoo. This gives some pastime.

Some hope of getting connected to people whom you do not know and not met. Many are benefit's from someones questions and Answers. Is it not a great boon, and charm for us to relish?

It is all about our attitude, if we care to think so.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
