Sounds like you picked up a virus, Gina. Immediately have your computer checked for a 'bug' or 'bugs.' If you have the proper programs, do the scans yourself, if not you need to take your computer to some one who can. Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet.
I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also. After you finish this, then go in and change your password, using a good strong one. Then you have to inform all of your contacts that you did not send them those mails, the virus did, and that they need to check their computers for infection, too.
I was hacked, over the holiday, and was not able to get back online to change passwords, etc. All of my contacts received a phony email stating that I was in Manila and had been mugged. When I did get online, a few days later, I learned that all my contacts had been wiped out. I went online with a tech.
To discuss the matter. He gave me a link to file a report to ask that Yahoo return the contacts as A.T. and T. Did not have that stored.
Anyone have experience with this? Did your contacts return and how long did it take?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
