It is unusual to have pain two weeks after having the wisdom teeth removed, but not unheard of. Here are some reasons this could occur In the process of removing the tooth, there may have been some bone parts/pieces that remain post surgery and are trying to work their way out of the gum After the removal, you may have inadvertently sucked on a straw or a cigarette or did something that would cause suction, that caused the clot to dislodge from the wound, and have developed "dry socket" This is a condition in which the clot that was protecting your wound was dislodged and allowed the bone where the tooth was, to become exposed to food or water. This is excruciating and needs the intervention of a doctor/dentist to alleviate It would be best to consult with your dentist before it gets any worse. An infection at the site could arise.
