Helen, you have been living in Florida too long. :) People that live in areas that never have snow are a complete danger to themselves and others when it snows. I can understand Florida closing the school for 2" of snow.
You have to consider the source. Let me give you an example. A few years ago Dallas had an inch of snow.
I saw on the news that traffic accidents were happening all over the place! My sister who was in her thirty's at the time was actually in three fender benders in one day on her way home from work. You heard me right, three accidents in one day!
I sat here in New York where we had snow totaling in the feet and laughed my butt off. No one was hurt, I am not that heartless! As a ex-New Englander we have to laugh at how other places just seem to fall apart when they get a little snow on the roads.
They just don't have a clue how to drive in that kind of weather. Play it safe and let them all stay home I say. LOL!
More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
