Well, I would tell the guy to find a girl who matches his personality. If you are too shy to do this yourself, you shouldn't be dating until you have more confidence in yourself. Be proud of who you are!

Just meet him, hang out with him a while, and eventually conversations will start up and you'll know if he's a match for you or not. Works for me every time. (From a guy) If the guy is shy himself, I would say you need to make the first move coz shy guys fear rejection.
