I noticed on the How to Make Chocolate Mousse page that it does mention using butter for melting the chocolate in a double boiler, but the butter is not listed in the list of ingredients above. I do not use butter when making chocolate mousse, nor do I when melting chocolate in a double boiler. That is, unless using bittersweet chocolate like Baker's squares.
When melting this kind of chocolate, you can add a teaspoon of butter to the chocolate in the top portion of your double boiler. This helps give the chocolate a smoother consistency. I also checked out a couple of other chocolate mousse recipes online, like the ones in the resources section of this page, and none of this recipes called for any butter whatsoever, so I am wondering if this is a typographical error on the part of the author of this particular page.
I hope this information helps! Good luck with your chocolate mousse.
It would be easier to answer this question if you posted the recipe in question or if you directed it to the source where you go it. In general when a recipe lists "butter" without an amount, what is meant is a small amount, either just enough to grease a pan or just enough to coat the tops of something.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
