Your desert island music selection?

Your desert island music selection. I'm sure this has been asked before, and probably more than once, but maybe we have a new crew that wants to answer. Please choose between 5 and 10 albums, the only music you can have on this desert island you're about to be stranded on.

Let me see, now...... I guess my 10 (can't get it any lower) albums would be: Sgt. Pepper (the immortal Beatles) Songs You Know by Heart (Jimmy Buffett) Chill of an Early Fall (George Strait) Long Time Gone (Dixie Chicks) Sweet Baby James (James Taylor) At the Movies (Van Morrison) Soundtrack from "The Big Chill" (that's like cherry-picking a bunch of goodies) Talking Book (Stevie Wonder) Greatest ts (Eagles--another cherry-picking choice) Nice 'n' Easy (Frank Sinatra) That was hard....but I think I've got a little representation from all my favorites, and enough variety to let me change the pace when the mood hits me. Oh dear....I want to include Rod Stewart Unplugged.

But I don't want to take anything else off the list. Maybe I'll just have to cheat and slip this into one of the other album covers, CD cases, whatever we're taking to the island with us.

And so many to choose from too... I have a rather large collection of albums and CD's so this is kind of tough for me but I'll give it a shot. In no particular order... Journey - Escape Dave Matthews Band - Everyday Prince - Purple Rain Movie Soundtrack Coldplay - X&Y Billy Joel - Piano Man Janet Jackson - Rhythm Nation Eagles - Hell Freezes Over Fleetwood Mac - The Dance Various Artists - Flashdance Movie Soundtrack George Michael - Ladies and Gentlemen: The Best of George Michael Some of these selections are multi-album sets. I hope they only count as one... How do I prevent music going into individual folders and then have to open each time finished to play another selection.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
