I would be pleased the fire service came, the last thing I would do would be to cast aspersions on the gender of the firefighters. This business about women doing what is misconceived as being a man's job is complete rubbish and should not be encouraged.
I would feel absolutely the same if firefighters are women. Because fire service always provide the best service and surely they will send their skilled ones when it is required in the moment of disaster.
Women firefighters can come to my house and put my flames out any day. {wink, wink}On a serious note, what does it matter? If they wear the uniform, they have gone through a stringent, qualifying process, and are as much firefighters as anyone else who may don the uniform and bear the title.
If my house were on fire I don't think I would be taking any notice whether the fire fighters were men or women. All I'd be interested in would be to try to save as much of the house as possible. If the women were well trained and able to do the job, that is great.
I would give them all a big kiss after.
Noticing the female firefighters, I think I would prefer to stay in the burning house waiting for some male firefighters to arrive... What a strange question this is.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
