Alright, alright. I'm not going to say whether or not one is greater than the other because no one is here to hear that and that's just abuse of your opinion. These are the pros and cons of Battlefield, sadly I don't have any for MW3..yet.
No one does. Pros: - 85% teamwork (random percentage done by me, for how much I play it with friends vs. alone). It's a huge team-based game and it definitely helps to have friends or a good (and talking) squad/team, although you can play alone.
This also has an effect on the speed of a match. It can go extremely quickly with mass attacks on targets, or it can go as slow as a chess game gone wrong where everyone is running around and there's really no idea of who is going for what and -insert team here- won't die fast enough. - Decent assortment of guns for each of the 4 variants (assault, engineer, support and recon), ranging from 6 normal guns and 4-5 team-items to 10 guns and 2 team-items (for unlock-ables).
- Kick-a$$ sequences in the campaign. Even if you're not a player of the campaign, it will get you hooked at the very beginning with epicness. (not even joking) In-between (your decision): - Graphics; everything looks good...until they're at a distance.
It gets choppy and not very good looking. I don't mind them, it's just what's going to happen. - Vehicles; every match can turn into vehicular slaughter fast.
There *are* classes/weapons to help take them out which is extremely helpful. It's your choice as to whether you like them or dislike them. Cons: - Air vehicles.
Lately people have gotten so good with the jets that it's sometimes extremely hard to have vehicles in the air on your own side because they get shot down so fast. I guess the only pro to them is if you are extremely good with them. - Leveling/ranking.
It takes FOREVER, it seems sometimes, to get to a certain rank or to level up a class to get a certain gun. Unless you're some kind of guru at getting 5k+ points a game every time, it'll be slow, but the rewards or better guns are worth it. - Knifing doesn't always work.
There are specific animations for when you get an instant kill with your knife and you *have* to be behind the guy in order to pull it off. It's not like in CoD where you can instantly knife anyone around you within a certain distance and it always kills. If you knife from the front you have to do it multiple times or else you're dead...not that you should be doing that anyway when you have a gun..
I was looking forward to buying BF3 until I actually played it, The ground warfare isn't great and most maps are quite vehicle based. I think that it is only fun when playing in a tank with friends, so now I cant wait for Modern Warfare 3 because I like the fast pace of Call of Duty, like being able to have fun when not playing with friends and still find the game fun a month later, most people will disagree, but that's my opinion :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
