Vila Real com projecto do circuito citadino quase pronto A possibilidade das corridas de automóveis voltarem a animar a cidade de Vila Real poderá ser uma realidade, já que se têm dado avanços neste processo. A Câmara Municipal de Vila Real nomeou este ano uma comissão para estudar a criação de um traçado citadino em Vila real, e o trabalho dessa comissão - composta por elementos do CAVR e da autarquia, já está quase concluído. Segundo o jornal A voz de trás os montes este projecto encontra-se na sua fase final, devendo ficar concluído com uma reunião a decorrer em breve entre as partes envolvidas.

A fase seguinte consiste no envio do dito projecto para apreciação na FPAK. Da parte do orgão federativo há abertura para as corridas em Vila Real, tendo Luiz Pinto de Freitas explicado em Julho ao SportMotores. Com de que esteve em 2005 em Vila Real para análise das diferentes hipóetese com a autarquia e o CAVR, ainda com a presença do malogrado Manuel Fernandes.
