1998 honda crv o/d button?

O/D is on most automatic cars its an extra gear in the transmission that you turn it on when you are going on the highway but turn it off in cities if you don't turn on the O/D on highway your transmission will be on the shorter gear and that raises rpm using more gas so turn it to O/D that will greatly affect your gas mileage.
