28 cows apparently committed suicide by jumping off a cliff in the Alps last summer ... why might they do this?
Cows don't have very good depth perception. They can probably see that the cliff is there, but don't know where it is. Cows also like to stay together in a group.So if they're all trotting along at a good speed, they could end up off the edge before they know they're there.
