€500-550 gaming PC budget build?

Missing windows, computer case, optical drive. Motherboard brand is lowest quality of the brands I worked with their procurement and engineers on a project. The CPU is not officially supported by the motherboard.

They tested some 125 watt CPUs, but not that Phenom, and do not fully support 125 watt cpus. Given the ECS brand, I call it incompatible. Ram is not optimum.

Dual Channel systems of CPU and ram run better as 2x4GB, and CAS 9 is better than CAS 11 timing. Edited here - 1600 MHZ ram is incompatible. See below.

Your CPU does not bottleneck Skyrim or Battlefield-3, but does bottleneck a superclocked EVGA 660 for Far Cry 3 and Crysis 3. So the combination of top graphics card and tier 3 cpu http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gami... bottlenecks some games. So Far Cry 3 and Crysis 3 drop to medium-high to maintain a playable frame rate without lag.

Your BF3 should maintain a frame rate in the 40's if you fix your ram and the motherboard does not meltdown at the socket http://www.notebookcheck.net/Computer-Ga... The power supply off-brand is not the best choice. There are reliability issues with it. The CX500 will net out about the same power, and do it with more stability and reliability: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as... same price after rebate.

The HDD, like the power supply, ram, motherboard, is less than optimum in quality. The ECS Motherboard is only SATA II 3Gb/s, so a SATA III HDD is irrelevent and runs SATA II. Either of these 1TB Seagate or WD, cost the same or less and are better choices http://pcpartpicker.com/part/western-digital-internal-hard-drive-wd10ezex http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate-internal-hard-drive-st1000dm003 Enter all your data in pcpartpicker and share a permalink instead, and you can save money in multi-site shopping and look for combos.

Summary, some possible incompatible, and really digging into low quality parts. It all fits together, and probably works, at least for a while.

Good choices your system is a good one and bf3 would work good with 30+ fps on high settings.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
