As log as you have your username and password for your old email that shouldn't be a problem.

Realistically, if it's like hotmail or something, your mail is backed up.

You should be able to contact the tech support for the company that you had your email through, and then you'll be able to have them restore your mail for you.

You will be required to identify yourself, and prove you are yourself.
