Parents divorced on Valentine's Day Not really a horror story, and since it takes months to process a divorce it wasn't intentional, but I always found the timing of that to be very strange. I got a dead carnation Back in high school, the student council would sell carnation love grams for valentines day in homeroom. Well my idiot boyfriend sent me a dead carnation, even though he picked out the flower (he was in student council). He actually delivered it to me.It was so embarrising and I was pissed about it for a week.

Later that week, we had a date, he stood me up and slept through it! Ironically, we are still good friends, although I would never date that idiot again. He was trying to be funny.

What's funny about a dead flower? Nothing. I know its not as bad as being dumped via text message or somebody cheating, but being 17, it still hurted.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
