A colleague's wondering where's a good place to stay in DC, close to Metro and relatively inexpensive. Any ideas?

New Carrollton is at the end of the Metro and there's a Courtyard that gets good reviews. It is right by both the Amtrak and Metro stations. It is a great base for exploring DC.

Walking from East Nashville to the other areas is pretty much out of the question, so be prepared to stay on that side of the river or be willing to drive a little. We get emails every day asking about affordable, safe neighborhoods near all the action with great schools. Unfortunately, it’s hard to have it all, especially without paying the price.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
