POLL: Do you think you'd make a relatively Strict parent or a relatively Lax parent, between the two?

I don't really know what I'll be the strictest about yet, my sons only 5 1/2 months. But my mom was the strictest on the messy room thing, we couldn't ever go any where or do anything until our rooms were COMPLETELY clean. And she was also really strict about dating, she wouldn't let me leave the house alone with my boyfriend, we had to always have a friend with us or brother would have to come with us.

College. Out of anything else, the fact that they need to go to college and make something of themselves. Trying to get it through their heads that they only have so long as children to 'get it right'.

Everything they do as kids is going to affect what they do as adults... so college and the path they are taking/where it is heading is where I am the strictest. My kids don't miss school unless they have a fever and grades are of huge importance.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
