Well, I haven't experienced anything paranormal in my life until now. In addition to this, I don't even believe in ghosts. They live only in our minds.
Natura Cleanse.
When I worked in Germany we lived on katterbach US military base which is located within an old SS barracks. Down where the washers were they had converted old Jewish cells into storage rooms. Anyone who doesn't believe in spirits would have been convinced just walking into that basement.
You'd feel like you were being watched, it was always cold, and sometimes you'd hear people crying or screams. There was also a peep hole in one of the storage units (they all had small holes used for viewing the prisoners in the past) that would occasionally get an eye in it from the other side. I didn't believe my employer when she told me about it until I saw it myself.
At first I thought it was a child that had somehow gotten locked in as the base had a lot of kids and they sometimes played hide n seek in the basements, no one answered when I asked if they were okay and when I unlocked the door there was no one inside and the rooms only have one door and barred windows.
Yes, I didn't experience this completely but my cousin and my mom's brother told me this. Let me start from the first. While constructing the house the laborers killed a snake and after few years the house was for sale it was shut for nearly more than a year.
So my mom's brothers planned to move to our place and purchased this house. At night when my cousin was playing the game on his pc, he felt thirst so he went to kitchen to drink water while he was going back to his room he saw something white calling him near the stairs..after this he ran back to his room and closed the door, switched off the PC and he went to sleep. Then again few days later When my mom's brother came down to kitchen to drink water he too saw a white thing at the corner of the window calling him..After this he doesn't know what happened he was back in his room the next morning, Then we all planned to go out, My brother told me to open the gates so that he can remove the car out.
I opened the gates and was standing near the gate I heard something moving behind me. When I turned back I saw the snake trying to go inside the compound from a hole I ran inside the home and informed everyone that a snake is outside when we all came out to see it. It went back and stopped in the middle of the road and it took a look at everyone there and ran back in such a great speed.
OMG these things scare me a lot I'm scared to move around in that house at evening and nights.
No, I haven't experienced a paranormal but my uncle who is a retired, Air Force Sgt told this story about his wife have had experienced in their home when he wasn't home. My uncle's family at Fairchild AFB, WA where they were was stationed from 1985-1991. During that time, they spent 3 years living on base on what used to be Elm Street in a duplex built in the 1950s.
His wife, awoke on a Saturday morning around 5:00 am and could not get back to sleep. She decided to go down to the basement to start laundry. The stairs to the basement were old, wooden stairs and were very steep and narrow and very creaky.
Even their cat was not able to walk up or down the stairs without noise. In addition, the basement door was one of those heavy, solid wood doors that creaked loudly no matter how quietly a person tried to open or close it. The wife back was to the stairs but if she turned, she could see to the top.
As she was folding clothes, she very distinctly heard a child say, "MAMA? " This voice was very clear and even a bit loud in the stillness of the early morning and she heard it directly behind her. In a split-second, she thought that the voice did not sound like her son's voice nor had he ever called her, "mama", and she had heard absolutely no sound from the stairs, door, nor feet on the creaky, wood floor overhead, however, being a mom, she said, "It's early.
Go back to bed. " as she turned to look at the stairs. Of course, no one was there but something...there was something THERE like a tiny bit of fog .
Even now, every hair is on end. She rushed up the stairs and her son was sound asleep, completely tangled in his sheets but she woke him and asked him if he had called her. He hadn't.
The next door neighbors were a childless couple and were very quiet but she asked them the next day if they had visitors and they had not. The next Monday morning, she went to the Base Housing Office and asked a friend who had worked there for years about the history of the Duplex and if a child had ever died there. The friend stated the records only went back 7 years and there was no mention of a child having died there but it probably wouldn't be in the records anyway.
In the fall of 2003, the Air Force sent my uncle back to Fairchild AFB. They lived approximately 3 blocks from the ' site of their former house. All the other houses in the area were removed and rebuilt over the years, the duplex where they used to live is now a vacant lot.
No house, no park, no driveway, no detached garage...NOTHING but the row of evergreen trees they planted beside the driveway that used to be and next to the site is a playground. There is no evidence that any house was ever there and since the Air Force considers every tiny piece of land on their bases VALUABLE, it causes my uncle and his wife to wonder if there were other reports of a child who spoke to her that morning and she had to wonder if that is the reason the Air Force decided to leave this one space empty and she can't help but think that MAYBE the playground had something to do with it. There it is.
Call the crazy but she knows what she knows.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
