When an examination is scored in certain cases affecting veterans, converted scores must be increased by 5% or 10 percent. For instance, if a candidate received a converted score of 84 points, a 5% veterans preference would increase the score to 88 points. If all candidates received a score of 100, the veteran would have his/her score increased to 105 or 110.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
